I really enjoyed your online course and have learned a lot from it.“

I appreciate that you have given a lot of thoughts to the fact most of the community language teachers don't speak English as their native language. You have used very clear and plain English to explain the concepts. The videos you recorded are great! In the videos, you speak clearly at a perfect speed. The step by step introduction of each lesson make it easy for learners to follow. The questions at end of each lesson are very helpful to understand and digest what has been taught. The course is very interactive and engaging.

it is building respect, kindness and sharing as a team in the class

The little children were so interested and captivated by the beautiful and colourful classroom management cards, and the messages they conveyed. They instantly obeyed what the cards asked them to do in English, and also the instructions I gave them in Sinhala. It was almost like playing a game for them. They were having fun while doing their work and I was enjoying using them, as I can see it is building respect, kindness and sharing as a team in the class. I think for our classroom management in Sinhala, the flashcards are an excellent tool. We would like to thank Kara for introducing such effective tools and techniques for us multicultural teachers to teach our community languages effectively.

Thank you, Kara, I have watched the first video for Planning.“

Thank you, Kara, I have watched the first video for Planning. What I like the most is the way you represent the course. You talk slowly, use simple English language, and your course is step-by-step. I will refer my teachers to register. Excellent work Kara. I will be watching and doing your courses this year.

“I highly recommend these courses to anyone“

I highly recommend these courses to anyone who would like to get some very practical and valuable ideas for making their teaching more effective and gratifying. These courses are well-structured and use simple and very effective analogies to illustrate some of the concepts or ideas presented. The combination of videos and concrete, useful resources to demonstrate the points made add to the helpfulness of the courses. Kara is a confident and engaging presenter and this adds to the clarity of her messages as well as to the enjoyment of following them. Moreover, the courses have some checkpoints embedded in them, which allows participants to certify their clear understanding of the content.

“A very useful and informative workshop.“

I was truly grateful that I recently completed both the online course and in-person workshop on ‘Introduction to using AI for Teaching’. A very useful and informative workshop. Kara was very knowledgeable and patient. She also provided a pace for questions about the ChatGPT and practices. Kara is an excellent and professional trainer. I really enjoyed and found this course most helpful. I am looking forward to taking more courses. Many thanks Kara.
